I believe everyday is a new day so let's start our day with a smile! By the way, I'm teacher Mary Love Ybañez but you can call me "teacher Love" for short. I am a graduate of ACT-Software Programming from Systems Technology Institute in Bohol, Philippines. I am kind, understanding, and carefree. I have been working as an ESL teacher for years now, both offline and online. I also have been to Japan and stayed for 3 months. Teaching is considered as the most honorable profession. However, being a teacher or a student never comes that easy, same as studying English. Nevertheless, as the saying goes, " It does not matter how slow you go, as long as you do not stop." So, what are you waiting for? Let's study English and be awesome like us here in Smile Academy!
Before I forget to tell you, let me share to you how I love Japan.
Did you know? I travelled to some places in Japan (like Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower, Shikoku-ken, etc), studied Japanese culture and basic Nihongo expressions solely for work purposes. I've also dreamt about living in Japan for good after I adapted the culture and way of living there. I love how clean Japan is, how organized and how kind people are. Everything was really an unforgettable experience and the memories will always stay with me. But what I really miss the most are the people I'd talked, met or encountered with and the food. Let's create unforgettable memoirs together (in class).

I have been working in a private school for 4 years now. I have also experienced teaching in a private lesson for Korean Children. Being a teacher is not easy as you have to play many different roles at a time; like a teacher to guide students, a friend to understand the problem of students, a parent to show them the right path and a learner to try to understand the students’ need.
